Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field.
• 2+ years in a manufacturing engineering role.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or CPIs.
• Proficient in CAD and manufacturing tools.
• Familiar with ERP systems and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
• Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling to improve production efficiency and product quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, maintenance, and design engineering to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Analyze production data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Support new product introductions by providing design-for-manufacturing feedback to design engineering and then developing and validating manufacturing processes.
• Create and maintain process documentation including standard work, work instructions, PFMEAs, and control plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Provide technical support and training to production staff as needed.
• Participate in capital equipment selection and justification.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for process-related issues.
