Job summary

Regal Rexnord’s Florence, KY facility seeks a Manufacturing Engineer II to develop and improve manufacturing processes for our Coupling business. The role focuses on line balancing, mixed-model sequencing, tooling, CNC programs, and process tooling across high-mix low-volume lines.

The engineer will lead CI projects, support NPD reviews, and work with an interdisciplinary team to meet SQDCG goals while upholding Regal Rexnord safety and export compliance policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field; advanced degree preferred.
• 3+ years in industrial manufacturing, preferably machining/assembly with high mix/low volume.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications; CAD experience.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop manufacturing processes through research and testing.
• Apply knowledge of design, machining, tooling, and material flow.
• Lead standardization and complexity reduction initiatives.
• Develop tooling, CNC programs, and line balancing for mixed-model lines.
• Support MCO and VCP projects; improve OEE and SMED activities.
• Participate in NPD reviews and product transfers.
• Drive CI projects and Kaizen events with cross-functional teams.
