Job summary

Regal Rexnord in Florence, KY is seeking an Engineering Associate to apply Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering principles to improve quality and productivity on the shop floor.

You will develop process documentation for ISO 9000, create work instructions, and support world-class manufacturing projects while aligning with safety and export controls. This onsite role emphasizes collaboration in a matrix environment and daily attendance.

Qualifications

• Education: Currently enrolled in an accredited technical school or college.
• Experience: 1-2 years
• Travel Required: Minimal
• Computer Skill: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & Power Point; Proficient with Internet
• Above average verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to get along with others
• Can effectively function in a matrix and team environment
• Daily attendance

Responsibilities

• Provide shop floor support in daily problem solving activities.
• Identify and implement projects such as productivity and cost reduction projects in assigned area.
• Develop and maintain appropriate process documentation to support ISO 9000 Certification.
• Create job work instructions as requested on existing and incoming equipment.
• Develop and implement World Class Manufacturing Processes.
• Investigate, justify and implement capital equipment needs.
• Communicate company goals, objectives and philosophies to the workforce.
• Attend communication meetings.
• Follow Emerson Ethics and Safety Programs
• Adhere to all Export, Import and Supply Chain Security Policy requirements relevant to the position
• Follow State and Federal Environmental Compliance Programs
• Adhere to ISO 9000 Standards
