Job summary

RTX is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for the McKinney, TX Consolidated Manufacturing Center. The role involves supporting factory production with a cross-functional team including engineering, factory management, program management, and operations assembly and test.

The ideal candidate will have a STEM degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience, plus experience reading drawings/schematics and performing test and repair work.

Qualifications

• Requires a STEM degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience reading mechanical drawings or electrical schematics.
• Experience testing, troubleshooting, and documenting test results.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot systems failing test, identify failure cause, and disposition hardware for repair.
• Operate mechanical, electrical, and optical test equipment.
• Investigate failure trends for root cause and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in teams to resolve technical issues, improve test yields, and reduce cycle time.
• Work independently and manage priorities on multiple tasks.
