RTX in McKinney, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to support Consolidated Manufacturing Center (CMC) factories, including composite layup and curing, mechanical and electrical assembly, coating, and bonding. You will drive process improvements and support production, rework, and repair activities across multiple military products.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Experience writing instructions for manufacturing processes.
• Root cause and corrective action (RCCA) experience preferred.
• Experience with factory operating systems CMES and PRISM.
• Excellent communication and teamwork in fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• B.S. in mechanical, chemical, materials, electrical, or composites engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop improvements for manufacturing processes.
• Resolve problems preventing products from meeting customer requirements.
• Document production processes.
• Transition development programs to full production.
• Coordinate efforts with operations management, quality engineering, and assemblers.
