RTX, the world's largest aerospace and defense company, seeks a Manufacturing Electrical Engineer to support Coralville, IA operations. You will help keep test equipment running, assist technicians with complex troubleshooting, and improve test processes to meet customer delivery needs.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Manufacturing or electrical component troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Improve test yields, throughput, capacity, and overall product quality.
• Identify test failure trends and perform root-cause analysis; implement corrective actions.
• Study performance of test equipment and reduce downtime.
• Support technicians and resolve complex test failures quickly.
• Analyze test approaches for cost reduction and efficiency gains.
• Provide capacity planning and utilization analysis for staffing and equipment.
• Order and justify capital test equipment; track appropriation requests.
• Improve fixtures and equipment to boost test performance.
• Participate in Production Readiness Reviews for new designs.
