This role focuses on creating process plans, SOPs, and inspection methods for high-precision parts, collaborating with engineering and design teams to drive manufacturability and quality for flight hardware. You will advance from operators to programming machines, enabling growth within a fast-paced program that aims to scale production and impact the space industry.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or comparable STEM field.
• 2+ years of machining experience.
• Minimum 3+ years in Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, or Supply Chain.
• Knowledge of GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Create process plans, SOPs, inspection plans, and fixtures to define part manufacturing.
• Improve manufacturing processes by deploying new technologies and methods.
• Advise on design for manufacturability with upstream partners.
• Articulate manufacturing, fixturing, and inspection methods for designs and GD&T.
• Recommend novel designs or updates to improve manufacturability.
• Analyze and address non-conforming hardware and root-cause corrective actions.
