Job summary

IDEX Corporation seeks an Associate Manufacturing Engineer in Oak Harbor, WA to support manufacturing engineering activities onsite. You will develop CAD models, generate prints and BOMs, update ERP data, and work with operators and vendors to implement process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred.
• 1–3 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• SolidWorks design experience or aptitude to learn is required.
• Familiarity with Manufacturing ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support New Product Introduction activities and project management for new part implementation.
• Create Part Numbers, BOMs, and Routers within ERP.
• Create prints (SolidWorks) from established specifications and update label databases.
• Coordinate validation activities with process specialists and review changes for manufacturability and cost impacts.
• Manage engineering changes requested by customers and perform post-change reviews.
• Troubleshoot equipment such as heat shrink and label printers and write purchased part specifications.
