Job summary

DICKEY-john, part of the TSI Incorporated family, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I in Auburn, IL. You will provide production floor support, improve workflows, document manufacturing processes, and coordinate new product introductions to the floor.

The role requires a BS in engineering or technical field, 0-2 years of experience, and familiarity with SAP and office tools. Competitive salary ($70,000–$80,000) and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or technical related field is required.
• 0-2 years of experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Production floor support/problem resolution and methods engineering.
• Make suggestions and incorporate changes to improve the workflow in the assigned value streams.
• Communicate effectively with personnel from widely varied backgrounds.
• New product review, coordination and introduction to the production floor.
• Establish and document efficient manufacturing processes / methods using Bills of Materials, Routings, Visual Work Instructions, PFMEA’s, ECO’s and Control Plans.
• Ability to read complex schematics, blueprints, CAD drawings.
• Fixture and tooling design and improvements.
• Participate on cross-functional project teams coordinating with engineering, quality, production, and purchasing.
