Job summary

DICKEY-john, part of the TSI Incorporated family, is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Auburn, IL to perform building and grounds maintenance across multiple skilled areas. This role involves plumbing, electrical work, HVAC maintenance, and general repairs to ensure safe, efficient facility operations.

Under minimal supervision, you will document maintenance activities, operate forklifts and lifts, and support events by setting up spaces.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate/technical education preferred.
• HVAC, boiler maintenance or facilities maintenance training preferred.
• Licenses: forklift certification preferred; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform building and grounds maintenance across multiple skilled areas.
• Repair plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry tasks as needed.
• Maintain HVAC equipment with preventive maintenance incl. filter changes.
• Operate forklift and powered lifts for facility tasks.
• Set up facilities for events and relocate furniture and materials as required.
• Follow safety policies and document maintenance activities.
