Job summary

RTX’s Andover, MA facility seeks an Operations Engineer to support circuit card assembly lines, including conformal coating processes. You’ll drive process improvement, data analysis, and safety assessments while coordinating with senior staff and suppliers. This is a 3rd shift role with a 12% pay differential.

Qualifications include a STEM degree, 2+ years of relevant experience, and the ability to obtain the required DoD clearance; U.S. citizenship is mandatory due to clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Create and oversee projects using risk management techniques.
• Translate engineering design requirements into formal manufacturing process documentation.
• Program computers and machines for manufacturing automation.
• Disposition discrepant production hardware.
• Lead root cause and corrective action investigations to prevent recurrence.
• Participate in process improvement and cost reduction initiatives using Lean Manufacturing.
