Qualifications

• HS Diploma or AA/AS degree with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Manufacturing experience with SMT, microelectronics and automated assembly equipment.
• U.S. Citizen – citizenship required for program access.
• Experience in clean rooms or coatings manufacturing factories.
• Problem solving and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.
• Technical writing experience for operator instructions and process reports.
• Self-motivated, proactive, able to multi-task in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Support current low-volume high-mix production in coatings factory with on-site responsiveness to equipment, process, materials, and product problems.
• Support coating factory production execution and write shop process documentation.
• Assist in implementing well-controlled processes and with new products builds using automated equipment.
• Ensure processes meet product quality requirements (J-STD-001, MIL-STD-883, MIL-PRF-38534, IPC, etc.).
• Assist with process improvement projects and cross-functional communication of technical information.

The Material Processing Manufacturing Engineering Department centers on development and production support assembly methods, materials, and processes for current and next generation microwave and mmWave products, with a very heavy emphasis on cutting-edge automation and materials. You will work closely with manufacturing engineers, engineering technicians, production operators, quality and operations on product manufacturing. Team responsibilities include developing and implementing materials and processes, process improvements, and production support using established statistical process control techniques, experimental designs, material analysis, mechanical design analysis, and root cause analysis. Evaluation of materials, equipment, and processes. This position will work on 3rd shift from 10pm - 6am.

What You Will Do

Support current low-volume high-mix production in coatings factory with on-site responsiveness to factory equipment, process, materials, and product problems. Support coating factory production execution. Assist in implementing well-controlled processes, and with writing shop process documentation. Support new products build typically with automated equipment. Ensure processes developed and executed meet product quality requirements (J-STD-001, MIL-STD-883, MIL-PRF-38534, IPC, etc.) Assist with process improvement projects to improve factory productivity. Effective cross-functional communication of technical information.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Manufacturing experience with surface mount technology (SMT), microelectronics and automated assembly equipment.
• U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
• Experience in clean rooms or coatings manufacturing factories.
• Problem solving and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.
• Technical writing experience for operator instructions, process reports.
• Self-motivated, proactive, ability to multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment.

The salary range for this role is 43,400 USD - 82,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
