Job summary

ARCH is seeking a manufacturing engineer to analyze specs and determine the best production methods for existing processes. You will create, implement, and troubleshoot CNC programs for new parts startup using MasterCAM, Part Maker, or alternatives.

The role requires evaluating tooling designs for cost and feasibility, interfacing with vendors, and improving methods to boost yields, quality, and safety while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering required or equivalent.
• Associates degree in Manufacturing Technology with relevant shop experience is acceptable.
• Experience with CNC programming and CAM software is required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze specs to determine production methods.
• Create, implement, and troubleshoot CNC programs for new parts.
• Assess tooling or equipment designs for cost and feasibility.
• Consult with vendors to source equipment and materials.
• Estimate production times, staffing, and costs.
