Job summary

ARCH in Minneapolis seeks an experienced manufacturing engineer to design and optimize milling processes for customer orders. You will create CNC programs, define manufacturing workflows, generate operation prints, and coordinate with quality on inspection methods to ensure first-pass success.

The role emphasizes mentoring engineers and machinists, leading Kaizen events, improving tooling and workholding, and supporting quotes.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years machining experience.
• CAM programming experience required.
• ITAR US person status required.

Responsibilities

• Create CNC programs for new products and manufacturing processes.
• Create operation prints and manufacturing processes for new products.
• Coordinate with quality on inspection methods and pre-production readiness.
• Mentor engineers and machinists to improve skills.
• Lead Kaizen events and quick-hit improvements.
• Develop tooling, workholding, and equipment with new technology.
• Participate in quality activities (NCMR, root cause analysis).
• Assist with quotes and production support on the shop floor.
