Job summary

ARCH is seeking an Engineering Technician / Machine Setup Operator for its Huntingdon Valley, PA facility. You will take ownership of CNC machine setup and ensure a stable, first-article approved process in your production cell.

You will prepare tooling, load programs, set machine components, adjust offsets, and monitor the initial 25-part run to confirm the process is centered and capable of meeting production goals.

Qualifications

• When CNC setup and process stabilization are required across production cells.
• Ability to read blueprints and balloon drawings for setup guidance.
• Experience with tools, fixtures and tool sheets for setup.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machines, bar feeders, and robotic equipment for production.
• Preset, install, and set tools, fixtures, and related components per tool sheets.
• Upload/download CNC programs and verify cycle-time with Programmer.
• Adjust offsets to achieve first-article approval and maintain spec.
• Monitor initial 25-part run to ensure a centered, stable process.
• Read blueprints and balloon drawings; perform in-process inspections.
• Coordinate line-clearance activities and collaborate on maintenance.
