Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I to support repair and overhaul efforts, optimizing production processes and ensuring product quality. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and develop reliable repair solutions for mechanical components and systems.

You will contribute to cost, quality, and delivery objectives while driving efficiency in manufacturing operations and maintaining stringent standards.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
• 1–3 years of experience supporting manufacturing engineering efforts.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards to define acceptable variations in mechanical parts.
• Familiarity with manufacturing documentation and standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing engineering efforts by assisting in process development and optimization to improve efficiency and product quality.
• Collaborate with production, quality, design, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth manufacturing operations and resolve technical issues.
• Assist in documentation and maintenance of manufacturing processes, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
• Lead and drive the repair development process, from concept to implementation by designing and developing repairs for complex mechanical components and systems.
