Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace US LLC is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve electronics processes, focusing on components, systems, and assemblies. You will report to the Engineering Manager and work on-site at our Urbana, Ohio facility, driving process improvements to strengthen product reliability and operational excellence.

Qualifications

Completed entry-level experience or internships in electronics engineering or related technical fields.
Foundational knowledge of electronic circuits, components, assemblies, and testing methods.
A growth mindset is required to learn new skills and processes.

Responsibilities

Support the development, optimization, and implementation of electronics-related production manufacturing processes which include: pick and place, surface mount, aqueous cleaning, wave flow, select solder, X-Ray inspection, oven curing, masking, conformal coating, Ionograph testing and final inspection.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot electronic assembly issues and implement corrective actions; partner with production teams to ensure smooth integration of electronic components and systems into manufacturing workflows.
