Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. in Mobile is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II - RVP to join the A320 Engineering Department. The role focuses on manufacturing assessment of non-conformities, late production changes, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities for the manufacturing process.

You will collaborate with FAL teams and back-office interfaces, support production with technical guidance, and drive improvements and KPIs for ME activities in the FAL environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing Engineering or Engineering Technology or equivalent years of experience.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Aerospace, preferably in an Aerospace Final Assembly Line.
• Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with internal customers.
• Ability to work in an international team.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of Airbus IT-Tools (Zamiz, TAKSY, DocMaster, ECM) and SAP/R3 (Module PP/PM).
• Knowledge of aircraft structure installation and design/manufacturing rules.

Responsibilities

• Create specific work orders for FAL rework and verify technical content of non-conformities.
• Provide technical support to production on issues including directed changes.
• Develop and refine work instructions for clarity and completeness.
• Ensure availability of replacement parts, jigs, and tools as needed.
• Lead ME TSFS-related projects and participate in ME activities in the FAL.
