Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Engineer I for its U.S. manufacturing facility in Mobile, Alabama, to support the A320 Engineering Department.

The role focuses on assessing non-conformities, managing late changes, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities in the manufacturing process. Responsibilities include technical support to production, creating work orders, and ensuring correct technical content in documentation, with 0–3 years of aerospace experience and 5% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Engineering Technology or equivalent years of experience.
• 0–3 years of experience in Aerospace, preferably in an Aerospace Final Assembly Line.
• Travel required: 5% Domestic and International.
• Knowledge of manufacturing engineering, supply chain management and quality system management.

Responsibilities

• Create specific work orders for FAL rework (Cabin, Systems, Electrics, or Structures by Station).
• Establish/verify the technical content of non-conformities and validate in documentation.
• Provide technical support to production on all issues including oversight of directed changes.
• Support completion of routing verification (RVP) for new or updated processes as required.
• Assist in onboarding and training of new colleagues and trainees.
