Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop manufacturing data packages, support daily production with process troubleshooting, and drive continuous improvement. The role involves coordinating with design and production teams to implement engineering changes and ensure quality and efficiency across the shop floor.

The position requires a STEM degree and CAD experience, with the ability to obtain a US security clearance. This is an on-site role at RTX facilities in the United States.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PPT, Project, or Word).
• Experience with CAD solid modeling tools.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a US security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Developing Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs) including assembly instructions, workflow/routing, labor standards, tool, and fixture designs.
• Supporting daily manufacturing areas with process troubleshooting, incorporation of engineering changes into the MDP.
• Dispositioning non-conforming material with root cause and corrective action analysis as required.
• Driving Continuous Improvement through process improvements to improve cycle time, reduce ergonomic risk to assemblers, automate, reduce costs using Six Sigma principles.
• Providing real-time technical support to manufacturers and fabricators; in-house as well as the supply base.
• Tool/fixture development to drive ergonomics into processes.
• Leading corrective action investigations to prevent recurrence.
