Job summary

Galaxy Lifts is seeking an Engineer to create detailed manufacturing layouts and drawings for vertical platform and cargo lift systems, balancing hands-on CAD work with strategic development. You will collaborate with operations, vendors, and sales to drive quality and efficiency in a growth-focused environment.

Ideal candidates have a technical bachelor's degree (or equivalent), 2+ years SolidWorks, and 5+ years in manufacturing, with strong drafting accuracy and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent engineering/technical experience required.
• 2+ years SolidWorks experience required; AutoCAD and Inventor a plus.
• 5+ years manufacturing experience preferred; construction exposure a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed manufacturing and layout drawings using CAD for vertical platform and cargo lift systems.
• Assist in producing internal drawings, schematics, manuals, and specification sheets.
• Help expand the capabilities of the Engineering team.
• Develop understanding of industry standards (ASTM, ANSI, ISO, AA).
• Travel to sites as needed and collaborate with operations and vendors.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
