Job summary

Galaxy Lifts is seeking a Manufacturing Drafter to create detailed drawings and layouts for vertical platform and cargo lift systems. You will assist in engineering outputs and support the expansion of engineering capabilities while adhering to industry standards.

The role requires an associate degree in a technical discipline and 2+ years of SolidWorks experience, with AutoCAD or Inventor as a plus. Local candidates in Mabank, TX or willing to relocate are preferred.

Qualifications

Associate degree in technical discipline or equivalent experience.
2+ years of SolidWorks experience required.
AutoCAD and Inventor a plus.
Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
Strong mechanical mindset with focus on accuracy and detail.

Responsibilities

Create detailed manufacturing and layout drawings using CAD products and models for vertical platform and cargo lift systems.
Assist in production of internal drawings, schematics, manuals, and specification sheets.
Assist in the creation and expansion of the capabilities of the Engineering team.
Develop understanding of industry standards (ASTM, ANSI, ISO, AA).
Travel or attend site visits as needed.
Research and provide product solutions for dealers and end-users.
Test new products to verify design intent through virtual or physical methods.
Work with Operations to improve drawings, costs, and manufacturing methods.
Manage administrative systems including ERP, CRM, and PDM (NetSuite, HubSpot).
