Job summary

Galaxy Lifts in Mabank, TX seeks an Engineer to balance tactical execution with strategic engineering tasks. The role involves creating detailed CAD drawings for vertical platform and cargo lift systems, assisting with drawings and manuals, and contributing to new product design and continuous improvement.

The position requires a technical degree, 2+ years in SolidWorks, and experience in manufacturing, with relocation to Mabank as a possibility. Eligible for benefits and career growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of SolidWorks experience required; AutoCAD and Inventor are a plus.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred; construction industry exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed manufacturing and layout drawings using CAD models for vertical platform and cargo lift systems.
• Assist in production of internal drawings, schematics, manuals, and specification sheets.
• Develop the capabilities of the Engineering team.
• Research and provide product solutions to dealers and end-users.
• Lead New Product Design and Research and Development.
• Test new products to verify design intent using various methods.
• Collaborate with Operations to improve drawings, costs, and manufacturing methods.
• Manage ERP, CRM, and PDM systems (NetSuite, HubSpot).
• Prepare presentations for management (PowerPoint, Visio).
• Coordinate with vendors and drive Continuous Improvement projects.
