Job summary
Saronic Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead production process development and optimization for autonomous surface vessels. You will work closely with design and engineering teams to integrate design specs into manufacturing and ensure high-quality, cost-efficient production for DoD applications.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, particularly in the production of complex electromechanical systems.
- Familiarity with autonomous systems, robotics, or maritime technologies is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to autonomous maritime systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for autonomous surface vessels. Implement lean manufacturing to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of specifications into production; work with suppliers to source materials.
- Establish and implement quality control measures; perform root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and incorporate advancements into production processes.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation; ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards; liaise with regulatory bodies.
- Provide training and support to production personnel to ensure proper execution of manufacturing processes; troubleshoot issues.
