Job summary
Saronic Technologies in New Orleans, LA, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to ensure robust processes and scale equipment. You will integrate new automated assets and software enhancements to support the transition from low-rate to high-volume production.
Onsite work with safety protocols, read blueprints, collaborate with software and production engineering, and train teammates. The role offers hands-on opportunities in a fast-paced shipyard environment.
Qualifications
- Experience operating manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to train others on equipment use.
- Experience developing maintenance plans with production engineering.
- Ability to identify needs on the floor.
- Ability to identify weak/strong spots in equipment and personnel.
Responsibilities
- Executes repair of manufacturing equipment.
- Assist in work prioritization and triage during peak production periods to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Support the shipyard’s transition from low-rate to high-volume production, identifying and implementing changes in processes.
- Onboard new automated manufacturing assets, collaborating with software and production engineering to drive improvements.
- Create manufacturing processes in unstructured areas of our operational system.
