Saronic Technologies seeks a 2nd Shift Manufacturing Engineer to develop and optimize production processes for autonomous surface vessels. This role partners with design and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of specifications and cost-effective manufacturing.

Ideal candidates bring a strong background in lean manufacturing, CI, and experience with electromechanical systems, with familiarity in maritime technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering required; Master's preferred.
• Proven experience in manufacturing engineering for complex electromechanical systems.
• Familiarity with autonomous systems, robotics, or maritime technologies is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and CI methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for autonomous surface vessels.
• Collaborate with design/engineering teams to integrate design specs into manufacturing.
• Establish QA measures and perform root-cause analysis for production issues.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes.
• Create and maintain comprehensive manufacturing documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide training and support to production personnel to ensure proper process execution.
