Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Orlando, Florida, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join the Manufacturing Engineering Team. You will design and optimize manufacturing processes, install equipment, and plan production layouts.

You will drive operational excellence using advanced manufacturing techniques, data analytics, and IoT-enabled equipment. Expect hands-on design, analysis, and continuous improvement across the production floor.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology from an accredited college.
Experience with precision machining, CNC lathes and mills, and fixtures for aerospace alloys.
Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and G-code.
GD&T interpretation and use of precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, procedures, and layouts.
Design equipment installation and material handling solutions.
Create and analyze 3D models to improve workflows and digital work instructions.
Evaluate equipment performance and drive corrective actions.
Apply SPC and data analytics to continually improve efficiency and quality.
