Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a 6-month contract-to-hire in Menlo Park, CA. The role focuses on designing for manufacturability and developing processes for complex radar hardware.

You will serve as the technical liaison between Hardware Engineering and contract manufacturers, guiding prototypes through production. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in electronic/electromechanical manufacturing, strong DFM knowledge, and familiarity with PCB fabrication, SMT, and ERP/PLM

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is required.
5+ years in manufacturing electronic/electromechanical products.
Strong DFM understanding for PCBAs and mechanicals.
Experience supporting NPI from prototype to production.
Familiarity with PCB fabrication, SMT, IPC standards, and electronics manufacturing.
Experience with Arena or PLM, ERP systems, and SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

Lead DFM reviews across hardware development lifecycle.
Develop manufacturing processes, work instructions, and assembly docs for radar hardware.
Interface between Hardware Engineering and contract manufacturers.
Support prototype builds and guide NPI into production.
Improve manufacturability, serviceability, and readiness of PCBAs and assemblies.
Develop production tooling, fixtures, inspection methods, and workflows.
Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure documented BOMs and releases.
