Seiler Instrument Company in Missouri seeks a highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Programmer to develop CNC programs, create fixtures, and design supporting drawings from customer blueprints. You will maintain setup instructions and optimize tooling for efficient production.

The role requires 7+ years in machining/engineering, strong Solidworks and Mastercam skills, and solid knowledge of fixture design, GD&T, and blueprint interpretation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 7+ years in machining/engineering preferred.
• Solidworks and Mastercam software experience required.
• Strong knowledge of fixture design and machining principles for CNC machines.
• Knowledge of materials and their machining characteristics.
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation; GD&T proficiency.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings and solid models to determine efficient machining sequences.
• Design fixtures and tooling for production and assembly.
• Observe first article production and inspection to verify process conformance.
• Stay current with new technologies and apply them to projects.
• Ensure ISO, AS, safety and other management systems compliance.
