Job summary

Seakeeper, Inc. seeks an Engineering Manufacturing professional for our Leesport, PA facility.

You’ll design fixtures, workholding, and tooling; create and optimize CNC programs for turning and grinding; and develop robust Standard Work and production controls for a complex electro‑mechanical system. You’ll partner with manufacturing teams to improve layouts using 5S/Lean, analyze MES data, and drive continuous improvement actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1–4 years of engineering experience in a technical/manufacturing environment.
• Strong GD&T knowledge.
• Experience creating and maintaining Standard Work Instructions and production Control Plans.
• Working knowledge of Six Sigma, 5S, Lean manufacturing, or similar improvement frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design machine and assemble fixtures, as well as workholding and tooling, across multiple production areas
• Document and maintain Standard Work Instructions for production processes
• Improve factory layouts and material flow using 5S and Lean methodologies
• Create, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for turning and grinding processes
• Participate in design-for-manufacturing reviews, applying engineering expertise to improve product design and manufacturability
• Provide engineering support to manufacturing and production teams, with a focus on line-down troubleshooting, process improvement, and MES system support
• Analyze MES production and warranty data to identify and drive continuous improvement actions
• Record process cycle times using MOST Analysis, and track and analyze production OEE metrics
