Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer for an on-site role in Brookline, PA. The ideal candidate will drive process improvements, leverage CNC machining expertise, and ensure ISO compliance while partnering with design engineers on new products.

You should have a minimum of 5 years in manufacturing engineering, strong problem solving, Lean/ Six Sigma familiarity, and excellent communication to work effectively in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
• Proven experience with process improvement, manufacturing processes, CNC machining process, 5S in an ISO regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing process issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Certified in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods.
• Utilize your experience in CNC machining processes to ensure optimal efficiency and quality.
• Implement process improvements, applying principles of 5S and Lean Manufacturing.
• Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with ISO standards and other regulatory requirements.
• Work collaboratively with design engineers to develop and implement manufacturing processes for new products.
• Troubleshoot issues with manufacturing processes and work towards effective solutions.
• Develop and maintain detailed work instructions for all manufacturing processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis for manufacturing process failures and implement corrective actions.
• Provide training and guidance to manufacturing personnel on new or revised manufacturing processes.
