Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and improve cable harness and integrated assembly processes in Simpsonville, SC. You will work with the Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure safe, cost-effective manufacturing solutions.

Responsibilities include enabling New Product Introduction, selecting equipment, driving process efficiency, and maintaining rigorous change control and documentation. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires university degree and 5+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Lean manufacturing tools and process improvement experience preferred.
• Experience in writing work instructions and familiarity with military/aerospace procedures.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with New Product Introduction to bring programs to production while meeting cost, delivery, and specs.
• Identify tools, equipment, and fixtures required to manufacture products to spec.
• Drive efficiency by innovating assembly and manufacturing processes.
