Job summary

RTX is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for Cable Harness and Integrated Assemblies in Simpsonville, SC. You will develop and improve manufacturing processes, partnering with NPI, Quality, and Operations to meet cost, delivery, and quality targets.

Role emphasizes lean principles, safety, and equipment design for productivity. Travel up to 10% may be required; work is onsite in Simpsonville.

Qualifications

• University Degree with related field experience; or Advanced Degree with relevant experience.
• 5+ years in manufacturing/process improvement; 3+ years with advanced degree.
• Experience with lean tools and process documentation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with NPI to bring programs to production meeting specs, cost, and schedule.
• Identify tools, equipment, and fixtures to manufacture to spec.
• Improve processes and drive efficiency through lean manufacturing methods.
• Ensure safe working environment and develop new equipment for productivity.
• Maintain change documentation and support continuous improvement.
