Job summary
Actalent is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to develop, improve, and sustain manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling in a Granbury, TX facility. This role collaborates with production, quality, supply chain, and design engineering to enhance efficiency and support new product introductions.
You will support automation, work with vendors during installation, and help optimize material flow while prioritizing safety and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline required.
- 3–5 years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience.
- Experience with process development and production support.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust manufacturing processes and work instructions.
- Support machining, fabrication, welding, and assembly with process guidance.
- Collaborate with design to ensure manufacturability and capability.
- Assist implementing automated equipment to increase efficiency.
- Provide shop-floor engineering support to resolve issues quickly.
- Lead lean and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cycle time and costs.
