Job summary

Camlin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead configuration and assembly at the Atlanta facility and serve as North American Safety Lead, ensuring safety compliance and promoting a strong safety culture.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering and 3–5 years in manufacturing or assembly, with experience leading safety programs and OSHA knowledge. The position emphasizes collaboration with global teams and a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).
• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
• Previous experience leading or managing a safety program.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and best practices for workplace safety.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work across teams.
• Experience in electrical equipment assembly or industrial systems (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the configuration, testing, and validation of transformer monitoring systems in the Atlanta facility in alignment to our global standards.
• Develop and optimize assembly processes for efficiency, quality, and scalability.
• Collaborate with UK-based engineering and production teams to ensure seamless knowledge transfer and best practices.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing and integration challenges.
• Support supply chain and logistics teams in ensuring timely availability of materials.
• Develop, implement, and maintain a safety compliance program for the Camlin North America
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant safety regulations.
• Conduct safety training, audits, and risk assessments for manufacturing and field service operations.
• Promote a culture of workplace safety and continuous improvement.
