Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer (2nd shift) in Mocksville, NC to enhance production processes and collaborate across design, quality and operations. The role focuses on improving productivity, reducing waste, and maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities include developing machining processes, implementing capital equipment, and ensuring ISO 9001:2015 compliance while leading cross-functional initiatives. 4+ years of experience and GD&T proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Strong analytical ability to solve manufacturing and dimensional issues.
• 1+ years using inspection tools and applying engineering requirements.
• 1+ years in GD&T and tolerance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Suggests, evaluates, and manages multiple manufacturing projects end-to-end.
• Develops and implements machining processes on current or future assets.
• Implements capital equipment and run-offs.
• Maintains lean manufacturing practices and precision machining standards.
• Designs tooling, gauges and fixtures using 3D modeling software.
• Develops manufacturing routings and supports production with troubleshooting.
• Ensures ISO 9001:2015 compliance and safety practices.
