Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for the 2nd shift in Mocksville, NC, to optimize production methods, implement lean practices, and work with design, quality, and operations to lower costs while upholding safety and quality standards. The role requires 4+ years in manufacturing engineering, GD&T and tolerance analysis, and experience with inspection tools.

Bachelor’s in engineering preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Strong analytical ability to solve manufacturing problems and dimensional or calculation errors.
• 1+ years of experience using inspection tools, techniques and their application to engineering requirements.
• 1+ years of experience in advanced engineering drawings including GD&T and tolerance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Suggests, evaluates, implements & manages multiple manufacturing projects from beginning to end.
• Evaluates, develops and implements machining processes on current or future assets.
• Implements capital equipment including evaluation, selection, run-offs, and implementation.
• Maintains manufacturing best practices including precision machining, lean manufacturing, and machine tool / tooling technologies.
• Leads machine tool installations throughout the entire process.
• Supports production efforts through troubleshooting manufacturing issues.
• Ensures compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
