Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer for the 2nd shift to enhance production efficiency in Mocksville, NC. You will design and refine methods, work with design, quality and operations, and implement improvements to cut costs and boost quality.

The role emphasizes lean practices, GD&T, and capital equipment projects. Onsite work with up to 15% travel, and collaboration across departments to drive safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
• 1+ years of experience using inspection tools and applying results to engineering requirements.
• 1+ years of experience with GD&T and tolerance analysis in engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Suggests, evaluates, implements & manages multiple manufacturing projects from beginning to end.
• Evaluates, develops and implements machining processes on current or future assets.
• Implements capital equipment including evaluation, selection, run-offs, and implementation.
• Maintains manufacturing best practices including lean manufacturing and machine tool technologies.
• Leads special projects including NPD, insourcing, productivity and capital procurement.
• Designs tooling, gauges and fixtures using 3D modeling software.
• Develops manufacturing routings internal and subsections.
