Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Mocksville, NC to design and optimize production processes, coordinate capital equipment, and collaborate with design, manufacturing and supplier teams. The role emphasizes Lean initiatives, cost reduction, and robust process capability.

The candidate will develop routings, bills of materials, standard work, and support rapid improvement events while ensuring safety and quality in manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Manufacturing/Industrial or Mechanical engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in final assembly and testing.
• 3+ years of experience with engineering-related software.

Responsibilities

• Designs and coordinates standard manufacturing processes.
• Plans or improves production methods including flow, tooling, assembly methods and production equipment.
• Estimates production times and optimum staffing for production schedules.
• Determines the development or purchase of capital equipment.
• Interacts with design, manufacturing and suppliers.
• Creates production processes and documents through routings, BOMs and standard work.
