Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Strong analytical ability to solve manufacturing problems and dimensional/calculation issues.
• 1+ years of experience using inspection tools and applying them to engineering requirements.
• 1+ years of experience with GD&T and tolerance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Suggests, evaluates, and manages multiple manufacturing projects from start to finish.
• Evaluates, develops, and implements machining processes on current or future assets.
• Implements capital equipment including evaluation, selection, run-offs, and implementation.
• Maintains manufacturing best practices including lean manufacturing and precision machining.
• Evaluates non-conforming material and provides proper disposition.
• Leads special projects including NPD, insourcing, productivity and capital procurement.
• Designs tooling, gauges and fixtures using 3D modeling software.
• Develops manufacturing routings for internal and sub-con operations.
• Leads machine tool installations throughout the process.
• Supports production efforts through troubleshooting manufacturing issues.
• Ensures ISO 9001:2015 standards compliance.
• Supports safety and environmental practices.
• Performs other duties assigned by supervisor.
