Job summary

Wisconsin Stamping and Manufacturing is seeking a manufacturing professional with 5+ years of experience in a job shop environment. The role involves evaluating manufacturability, cost estimating, BOM/Routings, process flow, and packaging requirements.

Strong CAD (SolidWorks) skills and ERP familiarity are essential. You will help optimize production schedules, analyze post-production costing, and work collaboratively to meet delivery timelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing experience; experience in a job shop environment is a plus.
• High School diploma or GED required; technical school, associate or bachelor degree is a plus.
• 3D/CAD experience desired - SolidWorks preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ERP experience required.

Responsibilities

• Review manufacturability and assist in cost estimating.
• Ensure process details for manufacturing are correct and transmitted timely.
• Set up Bills of Materials and Routings; set process flow and inspection criteria.
• Set packaging requirements and ensure product can be manufactured efficiently.
• Monitor production schedules and perform post production costing analysis.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

• Reviews manufacturability and assists in cost estimating
• Ensures the process details needed to manufacture the product are correct and in transmitted in a timely manner
• Sets up Bills of Materials and Routings
• Sets process flow
• Sets efficient inspection criteria
• Sets packaging requirements

• Ensures the product can be manufactured efficiently
• Planned versus actual review in real time - Adds/revises (real time) plan to achieve best outcome
• Identifies tooling and fixturing requirements
• Adheres to packaging requirements

Solves process and production related issues

Reviews and monitors production schedules to ensure timely delivery

Validates and analyzes post production costing and production date

Required Skills / Abilities

• Ability to think critically and make decisions in a timely fashion
• Ability to work independently and on a team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills. Working knowledge of ERP systems required.
• 3D / CAD experience desired - preferably SolidWorks
• Ability to think critically and solve problems

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years of manufacturing experience. Experience in a job shop environment a plus
