Job summary

Wisconsin Stamping and Manufacturing in Wisconsin is seeking an entry-level Mechanical Assembly associate for 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6am-2pm). You will perform manual assembly, measure parts, and support various departments as needed. This role offers hands-on training in a growing metal fabrication company.

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to perform precise measurements using a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Selecting, measuring and aligning parts or subassemblies for production.
• Operating power tools and manufacturing equipment to assemble components.
• Performing quality checks and functional tests to identify defects or inconsistencies.
• Troubleshooting assembly issues and reporting malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.
• Willingness to cross train and perform other job tasks when necessary.
• Follow and maintain strict adherence to safety regulations/maintain safe work area.
• Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures.
• Strong work ethic.

Job Description

1st shift: Monday through Friday ' 6am-2pm

Job Summary

This Mechanical Assembly is an entry level type position. Responsibilities for this position include manual labor in various departments depending on current shop load and demand.

Duties/Responsibilities

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, talk or hear for 1 to 10 hours a day. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is frequently required to walk, squat/kneel, bend/stoop, twist/turn, grasp and reach overhead and outward. While performing this job the employee is required to lift boxes and other materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in a 55 ' 90 degree Fahrenheit environment. Work in a fast paced industrial environment wearing vision protection, hearing protection, steel-toed shoes and other appropriate protective clothing.
