Wisconsin Stamping & Manufacturing in DJS facility is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our 1st shift. You will perform preventative maintenance, assist with repairs, and keep the plant clean and safe while supporting manufacturing operations.

We are a privately-held independent metal fabrication company that produces components used in a wide range of industries. Our goal is to provide products and services that meet our customers' needs in a timely fashion with the highest level of quality and value.

Our capabilities are constantly expanding and currently include metal stamping, laser cutting, brake forming, tubular stamped components, CNC and Swiss machined parts, wire forms, thread rolling, weldments, and integrated assemblies. Our modern facility includes a complete in-house tool and die department and fastener distributorship.

Our capabilities at DJS are constantly expanding and currently include CNC machining, full metal fabrication (laser, brake, welding), painting, integrated assemblies and more. Our facility includes the latest in manufacturing technology and equipment.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1st shift: Monday through Thursday 6:00 am-2:00 pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform equipment preventative maintenance.
• Assist with equipment repairs.
• Facility maintenance and cleanliness.
• Keep walkways and entrances free of debris, snow and ice.
• Safely operate a forklift to handle materials and completed work.
• Order parts and maintain required documents.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Mechanical aptitude
  • Must be able to work on Hydraulics, Electrical and CNC equipment
• Team player with a positive, 'can do' attitude.
• Strong work ethic.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS BUT NOT REQUIRED:

• Previous experience maintenance and/or in a fast paced environment.
• A certificate from college or technical school is a plus.

This is a full time position in the competitive and challenging metal manufacturing field. The pay range/rate of pay for this position may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.
