Wisconsin Stamping & Manufacturing in Wisconsin is seeking an entry-level Mechanical Assembly for first shift (6am–2pm). This role focuses on hands-on assembly across departments based on workload, with training provided.

Qualifications

Job Description

1st shift: Monday through Friday - 6am-2pm

Job Summary

This Mechanical Assembly is an entry level type position. Responsibilities for this position include manual labor in various departments depending on current shop load and demand.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Selecting, measuring and aligning parts or subassemblies for production
• Operating power tools and manufacturing equipment to assemble components
• Performing quality checks and functional tests to identify defects or inconsistencies
• Troubleshooting assembly issues and reporting malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors
• Willingness to cross train and perform other job tasks when necessary.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, talk or hear for 1 to 10 hours a day. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is frequently required to walk, squat/kneel, bend/stoop, twist/turn, grasp and reach overhead and outward. While performing this job the employee is required to lift boxes and other materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in a 55 - 90 degree Fahrenheit environment. Work in a fast paced industrial environment wearing vision protection, hearing protection, steel‑toed shoes and other appropriate protective clothing.
