Job summary

Life in Pittsburgh seeks an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes. You will leverage CNC machining expertise to drive efficiency, quality, and process standardization in an ISO-regulated environment.

Collaborate with design engineers, create detailed work instructions, perform root cause analysis, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. A bachelor's degree and 5+ years in manufacturing engineering are required, with Lean/Six Sigma

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing engineering role.
• Experience with process improvement, manufacturing processes, CNC machining, 5S in ISO environment.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for team work.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Lean Six Sigma certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and guidance to personnel on new or revised processes.

Qualifications:

• 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
• 3. Proven experience with process improvement, manufacturing processes, CNC machining process, 5S in an ISO regulated environment.
• 4. Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies.
• 5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing process issues.
• 6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• 9. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• 10. Certified in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is a plus.
