Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for its Walpole, MA operations. The role focuses on developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to boost productivity and efficiency, while designing layouts, tooling, fixtures, and equipment to optimize production flows.

You will collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve issues, drive Lean and Six Sigma improvements, and ensure safety, quality, and compliance across all processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to increase productivity and efficiency.
• Design and optimize production layouts, tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
• Analyze production workflows to identify bottlenecks and reduce manufacturing costs.
• Develop and maintain work instructions, standard operating procedures, and process documentation.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
• Troubleshoot production equipment and process issues to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
• Ensure manufacturing processes comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and company requirements.
• Support the introduction of new products, equipment, and manufacturing technologies.
• Monitor production metrics and recommend process improvements to meet operational goals.
