OpenArc is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support development, launch, and continuous improvement of advanced electromechanical products. The role focuses on manufacturing readiness, NPI support, and high-quality production processes across complex robotic systems.

You will lead NPI activities, collaborate across engineering, quality, and production teams, and drive APQP initiatives to resolve issues and optimize manufacturing methods.

Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing engineering for electromechanical products.
  • Experience with electronics manufacturing and assembly.
  • Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI).
  • Experience in lean manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Experience with PCB assemblies, cable/harness builds.
  • Background with electromechanical products.
  • Exposure to robotics or complex systems manufacturing.

Job summary

Thisindividual will play a key role in driving manufacturing readiness, supporting new product introduction (NPI), and ensuring high-quality production processes across complex robotic systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams
  • Drive Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) initiatives
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues
  • Develop and improve manufacturing processes for electromechanical assemblies
  • Interpret engineering drawings and schematics
  • Support lean manufacturing initiatives
Requirements:

  • Experience with electronics manufacturing and assembly
