Job summary

Adecco is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer for a full-time, 1st shift role in Corry, PA (6am–4:30pm, Mon–Thu). The position aims to improve production processes, reduce waste, and support new product introductions.

Responsibilities

  • Create part programs using Cad Cam system for CNC lathe or mills.
  • Create internal drawings as needed using Cad system.
  • Establish time standards for processing parts throughout the facility.
  • Develop manufacturing methods to promote efficient facility utilization.
  • Analyze end users’ data needs and develop user-oriented solutions.
  • Coordinate review of specifications, sign-off processes and procedures.
  • Coordinate implementation and training to support new programs/systems.
  • Assist operations in setup, testing and support of new programs and machining procedures.
  • Provide guidance to solve complex operations malfunctions and troubleshoot.
  • Prepare cost analyses and develop estimates from RFQs, drawings, and specs.
  • Create and track travelers, setup sheets, and process logs for machining operations.
  • Help set up, debug, and optimize new jobs on machines.
  • Back up Programming/Estimating for Product Realization Reviews.

Job description

Adecco is currently seeking an experienced full-time Manufacturing Engineer on 1st shift in Corry Pa(6am to 4:30pm/Monday thru Thursday). The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving production processes, reducing waste, optimizing workflows, and supporting the introduction of new products.

Essential Functions:
  • Create part programs using Cad Cam system for CNC lathe or mills
  • Create internal drawings as needed using Cad system
  • Establish time standards for processing parts throughout the facility
  • Develop manufacturing methods to promote efficient facility utilization
  • Analyzes end users’ data needs and develops user-oriented solutions, which interface with existing applications.
  • Coordinates the review of specification, sign-off process and procedures.
  • Coordinates all aspects of implementation and training to support new program/system.
  • Assists operations in the setup, testing and support of new programs and machining procedures.
  • Provides guidance to solving complex operations malfunctions and performs troubleshooting.
  • Prepares cost analysis in computer by capturing actual incurred versus estimates material, labor and outside processing costs.
  • Develop cost estimates from customer RFQ’s, drawings, and specifications.
  • Creates and tracks all supporting documents needed for machining operations including, but not limited to travelers, set up sheets and process logs.
  • Help set up, debug, and optimize new jobs on machines.
  • Responsible for tracking all R&D (Research and Development) activities.
  • Able to back up Programming/Estimating for Product Realization Reviews.
  • Other duties may be assigned as required.
Education and/or Experience:

Associate degree or higher; and minimum of 5 years of hands‑on machining experience. Technical and computer skills required. Must demonstrate effective oral communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with staff inside and outside of the department. Strong level of problem solving, organizational effectiveness and project management ability required.

Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
