You will translate diagrams into buildable processes, support the assembly line, and drive DFM feedback with engineering. This role emphasizes lean methods, process documentation, and compliance with NEC/UL standards to ensure safe, cost-effective production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electromechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• 3+ years of manufacturing or process engineering in electrical assembly or switchgear production.
• Read, interpret, and redline schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and point-to-point/wire lists.
• Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA 79, and UL 508A wiring practices; familiar with UL 891 construction.
• Experience authoring work instructions, routings, and process documentation; wire termination methods.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize the manufacturing processes, routings, and work instructions that build our products.
• Provide hands-on support to the Assembly floor and serve as the engineering escalation point for wiring issues.
• Specify, design, and implement tooling and fixtures and keep them maintained and calibrated.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives to reduce defects and improve throughput.
• Partner with Product and Electrical Engineering for DFM feedback and NPIs.
• Own design conformance for electrical assembly and verify as-built against release docs.
• Develop and maintain routings, SOPs, and process records.
• Own PFMEAs and control plans; support root-cause and corrective actions.
• Track KPIs like wiring cycle time, scrap/rework, and first-pass yield.
• Ensure compliance with UL 891, UL 508A, NFPA 79, NEC, and ANSI/IEEE; uphold safety policies.
