Job summary

MITER Brands is seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager for its Hegins, PA facility. You will lead comprehensive EHS programs, train teams, investigate incidents, and drive continuous safety improvements across a 600+ employee manufacturing environment.

Expect hands-on floor presence (about 70%), strong regulatory expertise, and collaboration with leaders to reduce risk and incidents while maintaining compliance and delivering training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of five years leading an EHS program in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
• Experience managing workers' compensation programs and return-to-work processes.
• Professional certifications (CSP, ASP, CHMM or equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs to promote safe working conditions.
• Lead incident investigations with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Oversee workers' compensation and return-to-work activities.
• Deliver training on safety topics and lead safety committees.
• Conduct facility inspections and regulatory audits to ensure compliance.
• Analyze safety data and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
